MG Hector launched the first product in India, the Hector SUV, at a starting price of Rs 12.18 lakh. The price of MG Hector is between Rs 12.18 lakh to Rs 16.88 lakh. The hector will be offered in four variants- Style, Smart, Super, and Sharp. There is five colour of MG Hector, but the colour choice depending upon the variants.

SIZE:-  The Hector is five-seat, mid-size SUV and competes with the likes of the jeep, compass, Tata harrier, Mahindra XUV500, Hyundai Creta and Hyundai Tucson. As far As dimensions are concerned, at 4655mm, the Hector is the longest car in the segment. It also has the longest wheelbase, at 2750mm. It has a boot space of 587 litres, the largest in the segment. MG Hector will be available with both petrol and diesel engine options, while both the engines will be available with a manual transmission is reserved for the petrol engine. Both engines are available across the variant lineup but with varying transmission choice. The petrol engine will be available with a 48V mild-hybrid setup too and a manual gearbox.


The Hector’s stand out features is its large 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which won’t be available in all variants. There will be a feature like in-built internet connectivity, ismart mobile application-based AC control as well as door lock and unlock. The standard set of safety features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, traction control, rear disc, breaks, hill hold assist and ISOFIX child seat anchors.
